Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply when you access or use TokMaket. By using TokMaket, you agree to use the site responsibly and to follow these terms, the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Acceptable Use Policy.
Marketplace Role
TokMaket is an online marketplace and information platform. TokMaket does not own, sell, inspect, certify, guarantee or provide the goods, group buys, services, jobs, employment opportunities, transport, accommodation, trekking services, staff services or charter services listed by users.
Accounts
You are responsible for the information you provide, the activity on your account and keeping your password private. You must not create accounts using false information, impersonate another person or use another member's account without permission.
Listings and User Content
You are responsible for listings, job posts, company profiles, resume profiles, applications, photos, files, profile details, messages, comments, ratings and other content you submit. Content must be accurate, lawful, respectful and not misleading. You must own or have permission to upload photos, logos, resume files, text, business details and contact information.
Permission to Display Content
By submitting content to TokMaket, you give TokMaket permission to store, display, resize, moderate and use that content as needed to operate the site and show your listing, job post, company profile, resume profile, application, message thread or public page.
Public Contact Details
If you choose to publish contact details, business details, company profile information, staff profile information, resume details or availability, that information may be visible to site visitors. If you apply for a job or message a company or candidate, the other party may see the information you submit or choose to share. Do not publish or send information you are not comfortable sharing.
Moderation
TokMaket may review, approve, reject, edit, hide, suspend or remove accounts, listings, photos, messages, ratings, staff profiles or other content where needed for safety, accuracy, legal compliance, spam prevention or site management.
Transactions Between Users
Any sale, purchase, offer, group buy, village order, shared freight arrangement, service arrangement, transport arrangement, backload arrangement, trekking arrangement, staff engagement, booking or charter request is between the parties involved. TokMaket is not a party to those arrangements unless clearly stated in writing.
Offers, Messages and Verification Badges
Make Offer messages, chat messages, ratings and verification badges are tools to help users communicate and assess trust. They do not create a binding TokMaket sale, payment guarantee, delivery guarantee, licence check, safety certification or endorsement by TokMaket.
Jobs and Employment
Jobs, company profiles, applications, resumes and Staff Available profiles are provided by users. TokMaket does not employ candidates, act as a recruitment agency, guarantee a job offer, verify every resume claim or guarantee that an employer or candidate is suitable. Employers and candidates must complete their own checks before agreeing to work.
Companies must use candidate information, phone numbers, email addresses, messages and resumes only for genuine recruitment, employment or work enquiries. Candidates must only upload their own resume and personal information, or information they have clear permission to use.
Kokoda and Travel Areas
TokMaket does not issue permits, certify operators, employ Kokoda Trekking Staff, approve travel safety, arrange insurance or guarantee trekking services. Users must check permits, licences, experience, insurance, fitness requirements, emergency plans and local requirements directly with the provider or relevant authority.
No Misuse
You must not use TokMaket to scam, harass, threaten, spam, scrape data, upload malware, bypass security, interfere with site operation or list prohibited goods or services.
Reports and Corrections
Members can report incorrect, unsafe or suspicious listings. You can also submit a change request if something on the site needs correction or review.
Limitation of Liability
TokMaket is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, TokMaket is not responsible for loss, damage, disputes, injury, missed travel, failed payments, inaccurate listings, unavailable services or other outcomes from using the site or dealing with other users.
Changes
TokMaket may update these terms as the site changes. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
