Goods and wanted listings
People can list goods for sale or wanted listings, including coffee, cocoa, betel nut, vegetables, seafood, livestock, gold, cargo, art and artifacts, trade-store goods, household items, tools and general goods.
Buyers can use Make Offer on approved listings to negotiate a Kina amount, freight included offer or delivery-to-town offer through TokMaket messages.
Harvest Forecasts
Harvest Forecasts are for goods that are not ready yet but are expected soon. Sellers can say things like “Coffee ready in 3 weeks”, “500kg tomatoes expected next Monday” or “Cocoa drying now”. Buyers can contact sellers early and plan transport before the goods are ready.
Town Buyer Directory
Town Buyer Directory profiles are for buyers who want rural sellers to contact them. Examples include coffee buyers in Goroka, cocoa buyers in East New Britain, trade stores buying vegetables, restaurants buying seafood, exporters buying vanilla and hardware stores buying timber.
Group Buys
Group Buys are for people combining demand before they buy, move goods or organize a shared activity. Examples include families buying rice together, a village ordering solar lights, farmers combining coffee bags for one buyer, groups sharing freight from Lae, Kokoda walkers forming a trek group, and villages combining orders from town.
Group Buy posts can include a group type, item, target quantity, price note, join deadline, location, organizer contact and pickup, delivery or freight plan. Organizers can also record walk-in customers, contact details, quantities, payment notes and pickup notes when people join the Group Buy through a shop or local agent.
Local Agents
Local Agent profiles are for members who can help organise PMVs, charters, boats, pickups, cargo, guest houses, village stays, trekking support or errands from town. Other members can send booking requests to a Local Agent, and agents can accept, quote, book, complete or create shared charter groups when enough customers are interested. Agents can also record walk-in customer names, contact details, payment notes and pickup notes for a charter itinerary.
Completed Local Agent bookings can be reviewed and rated by the requester. Verified badges and ratings help other members decide who to trust.
Bring It From Town
Bring It From Town is for people in villages, islands, stations and remote work sites who need someone travelling from town to bring an item. Examples include a solar battery from Lae, medicine from Popondetta, school supplies from Goroka or trade-store goods from town.
Requests can include the item, town, delivery location, needed-by date, delivery offer in Kina, pickup details and delivery details. Travellers, PMV drivers, truck drivers, boat operators, aviation staff, missionaries and agents can message the requester.
Services
Service providers can list aircraft and charter support, freight and transport services, farm labour, coffee and cocoa services, building and carpentry, mechanical repairs, mobile phone and internet support, trade store and agent services, security and general services.
Transport routes
Transport providers and agents can list PMV routes, 4WD transport, truck and cargo runs, bus transport, motorbike or small cargo transport, boat routes, regional airline schedules, scheduled airline routes, mixed passenger and cargo routes and backload transport opportunities. Route owners can also record walk-in passengers, cargo customers, pickup notes and payments for their own transport requests.
Transport companies, airlines and regional airlines can create a company profile and import a route schedule so customers can view all routes for that operator on one page. Imported schedule rows are saved as pending routes until admin approval.
Bung Together
Bung Together events are for user-created travel-together plans where going as a group may be safer than travelling alone. Examples include a Sunday morning drive from Port Moresby Yacht Club to Owers Corner, a remote village visit, a convoy to a market, a boat trip or a PMV group plan.
Events can include start location, destination, via points, date, start time, return time, travel mode, required vehicle or gear type, meeting point, attendee limits, cost notes, security required status, safety notes and what to bring. Events require admin approval before they appear publicly.
Approved security businesses can register on TokMaket and submit quotes for Bung Together events where security is required. The quote can be divided across current participants as an estimate, but organisers must confirm the final arrangement directly with the security business.
TokMaket does not guarantee safety, organise events, supervise trips, inspect vehicles, verify road conditions, manage payments or provide insurance. Organisers and attendees must make their own checks before travelling.
Backload / Empty Space Board
Transport operators can list available space on vehicles, boats, PMVs and aircraft that are already travelling. Examples include a truck going Lae to the Highlands with spare cargo space, a boat going Madang to island villages, PMV seats available, aircraft spare cargo or passenger capacity and charter return legs.
Backload posts can include route, via points, date, departure time, available passenger seats, available cargo kilograms, return-leg status, price notes and contact details.
Charter and shared transport
Users can request full or partial charters of aircraft, buses, trucks and boats. Requests can include seats, shared cargo space, return loads and backload freight.
Verified Seller and Operator Badges
TokMaket can show trust badges on member profiles and listings, including email verified, phone verified, agent verified, business verified, tour operator verified, transport operator verified, community leader verified and Starlink location verified. Badges are added by TokMaket admins after checks.
Facebook and Messenger Sharing
Approved listings can be shared by copying the listing link into Facebook or Messenger. TokMaket creates a preview card with the listing photo, title, price, location, category and TokMaket branding where supported by the social platform.
Starlink
Legitimate sellers, owners, installers and access agents can list Starlink kits for sale, Starlink setup and installation, rentals, access-agent services and wanted Starlink listings.
Jobs and Staff Available
Companies can post positions vacant across PNG. Workers can create Staff Available resume profiles with a photo, skills, experience, licences, availability, contact preferences and a resume upload.
Job applicants can apply through TokMaket, and companies can review received applications from their account dashboard.
Kokoda Trekking
Verified local Kokoda tour operators can list Kokoda Treks. Trek listings include commencement date, route, operator experience, approximate number of treks run and approved customer feedback. Walkers can also use Group Buys to gather a group before confirming a trek with the operator.
Kokoda Camp Notices
Trekking companies can lodge planned overnight stops so campsites and villages can estimate expected group numbers and prepare food, drinks, firewood, fruit, charging services and basic supplies. Camp notices are itinerary notices only. They are not bookings or campsite reservations.
Kokoda Trekking Staff
Local Kokoda guides, porters, food carriers, cooks and trek support staff can create a public resume with role, photo, village or home area, experience, languages, contact details and availability dates from Owers' Corner, Kokoda or either end of the track. Profiles require admin approval before public display.

Registered resort operators, lodges and village stay hosts can list stay packages, package types, inclusions, contact details and booking-page links. Village Stay is a dedicated package type for community and village accommodation.
Guest Houses

Restaurants
Restaurant, cafe, kai bar and food business owners can list their restaurant name, cuisine type, menu items, food photos, prices, GPS map location, delivery options, opening hours, ordering phone number, WhatsApp, website and reviews. Restaurant listings, menu items and photos require admin approval before public display.
Restaurant Delivery Preapproval lets a member anonymously ask which restaurants will deliver to their area. The public request shows area, town, food need, timing and budget notes, but not the requester name or contact details. Restaurant owners can respond privately with their menu, ordering phone and delivery message by email and TokMaket messages.
Catering Requests let members ask approved restaurants to quote for an event. Requests can include guest count, event date, location, budget per guest, total budget, dietary requirements, preferred food, service needs, equipment needs and contact timing. Public requests stay anonymous until the requester selects a restaurant proposal.
